The objective of the Danish Council for Research and Innovation Policy is to further the development of Danish research, technology and innovation to the benefit of society.
Danish research and innovation environments can leverage artificial intelligence to enhance the quality, scope, and relevance of Denmark's investments in research and innovation. However, the technology also has the potential to bring significant changes to the framework of research and innovation. This calls for ethical and security considerations, as well as reflections on how Danish institutions can seize the emerging opportunities.
In the project, DFiR investigates various aspects of the public innovation promotion system, with the aim of mapping out potential opportunities for strengthening the framework conditions for knowledge-based innovation for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Danish municipalities face significant challenges in continuing to deliver high-quality, citizen-focused welfare. DFiR is investigating how best to support the use of research and development to inform and enhance municipal welfare tasks for the benefit of citizens and society.
