Denmark participates in the educational cooperation in international organisations. This covers, among others, EU cooperation, Nordic cooperation, and cooperation through the Bologna process, OECD, and UNESCO. One of the elements is the mutual recognition of qualifications.

OECD supports exchange of knowledge about education systems helping Denmark and other member countries to develop evidence-based education policy. Within research and innovation, OECD contributes with analyses and reports that can strengthen the knowledge basis in view of development of research and technology policies.
