SU reform

On 4 June 2024, the Danish Parliament adopted a new SU reform in the field of higher education. The new rules will enter into force in January 2027 and apply to students that have started a new higher or private education on 1 July 2025 or later. You can read more about the SU reform here.

State Educational Support for Adults Scheme (SVU)

SVU is a financial support scheme for citizens wishing to attend adult and continuing higher education programmes while working. SVU is granted as a supplement to cover costs of living, and it is intended to partly cover the loss of earned income due to studying while working.
